Paper Whispers

This artist book goes beyond a mere paper object; it is a sculpture that unfolds in the viewer’s hands. By employing collage and assemblage on a cardboard substrate, I have crafted a porous, organic surface that evokes a sense of antiquity and erosion. In this collection, the circular cutouts act as portals that invite the audience to contemplate the “entrapped” elements—a convergence of thread and fiber against the rigid texture of the cardboard. This work is an exploration of suspension and the tension between the visual and the tactile.
