Artist Statement:
“City at Night” is a narrative on stillness and solitude within architecture. In this series, panels with circular cutouts act as voids within the city’s fabric. When exposed to “light,” the works reveal an inner glow, resembling distant beacons suspended in the night.
With a variable structure—ranging from multi-panel works to sculptural book-like forms—this collection is a space to be observed. It is a place where the boundary between interior and exterior is defined by the interplay of shadow and light.
