Artist Statement:
With an articulated multi-panel form, this artist book blurs the boundaries between a book and an art object. As the panels unfold, a structure of layered cardboard and wire networks emerges, engaging the surrounding space.
The contrast between the rough, weathered texture of the cardboard and the delicacy of the wire makes this piece a tactile experience. It is an exploration of balance, and how separate elements come together to unfold a narrative of stillness and movement.
