Incomplete Healing

This work presents a fragmented body held together through visible, repeated stitches. The fabric takes on the quality of skin—an abraded, weathered surface bearing the direct marks of tearing. The sutures function not only as points of connection, but as an attempt at repair; an effort that does not conceal the scar, but integrates it into the very structure of the work.
